Construction of a five star International Hotel and Convention Centre at Ezulwini in Swaziland. No official name has been given to the new Ezulwini complex, but it is being referred to by planners as the King Mswati III Hotel and Convention Centre. Estimated project value : E1 billion.

Bella Riva Lifestyle & Golf Estate – Residential

Description:

Construction of the residential component for the Bella Riva Lifestyle and Golf Estate. Situated at the Fisantekraal Urban edge north east of Durbanville, in the Western Cape. The development will consist of a golf course, residential components, retirement village component, a plastic surgery facility supported by a hotel and spa facilities. A retail component and various recreational facilities such as children’s play areas, BMX circuit, gym trim trail, indoor climbing wall, skate park, jogging trails, fishing and canoeing.

Kathu Solar Park

Description:

Construction of a 100MW plant with parabolic troughs and a thermal energy storage capacity of 4.5 hours and will be located in the town of Kathu, near Upington, in Northern Cape Province. The project is situated on Farm Kathu No. 465, Kuruman RD. The property is situated approximately 3km to the north of Kathu (town). The access turn off to the property is situated approximately 11km from the Kathu town centre (via the N14 national road).

Cato Ridge Private Hospital, KZN

Description:

Construction of the Cato Ridge Private Hospital, to be located in Cato Ridge, KwaZulu-Natal. The hospital will consist of 85 beds, two major operating theatres, one minor theatre and a level two trauma / casualty unit. The hospital site is 300 metres from the N3 located on the corner of Uitskomst Street and Mazeppa Road. Estimated Project Value: R 117 million. Approximate GPS Coordinates for the intersection of Uitkomst Street and Mazeppa Road, as per Google: -29.73980, 30.58367. Estimated project value: R99 million.

Venetia Diamond Mine, Limpopo

Description:

South Africa’s largest diamond mine, the De Beers-owned Venetia, situated in the Limpopo Province (approximately 80 km west of Musina and 36 km east of Alldays) is expected to take the mine underground at a capital cost of R6.5 billion. Underground operations will access resources at an increased depth of about 1 000m below the surface. The features of the first phase of the expansion included new earthmoving vehicles (EMVs), a new primary crusher and a new fines residue deposit facility, as well as associated infrastructure, which includes a new filling station and a 1 310-m2 extension to the existing EMV workshop. The ramp-up infrastructure for Cut 4 will take the Venetia mine to 2014. Phase one is Complete. Phase two of the expansion will tackle the requirements for the ramp up to Cut 5, which will take the mine to 2021.

Construction of Park Square

Description:

Construction of Park Square, a 4-Star Green Star mixed use office and retail development which will be located next to Chris Saunders Park in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. The office block has a GLA of 36 000m², comprising 32 000m² of A grade and P grade sectional title office space and 4 000m² of prime ground floor retail space. There will be 2 basement levels. The retail part of the development will be used for restaurants, bars and shops and there will be a 16-metre wide public walkway that will connect the square to the nearby CJ Saunders Park. The walkway will also provide access to the public road on the eastern side of the development.

This is a brand new modern sectional title development which consists of 200 units done in 2 phases. This is a 10 storey development and includes basement parking, a communal swimming pool, 2 meeting rooms, a club house with a kitchen as well as a gym.
