Description : Construction of the infrastructure and services for a mixed-use development to be known as The Gate, in Cairo Egypt. The development will be located on an area of 450 000m² in the Heliopolis District in Cairo. The development will consist of 1000 residential apartments, offices, shopping mall and a five star hotel. Construction of the complex will minimize environmental impact using a host of technologies. It will feature wind catchers, wind turbines, geothermal cooling, solar panels, and solar heater tubes. Total estimated cost : EGP4.5 billion.
